Challenge 

We were tasked to help a food ingredients specialist create a more cohesive organisation. It was operating across multiple territories with each separate ‘company’ functioning as a standalone business unit. 

 

Solution

As a member of the executive leadership team, we helped develop and execute a comprehensive plan. It included company vision and strategy with financial outcomes, product portfolio repositioning, investment requirements, acquisition and divestment strategy, execution strategy, and tracking and monitoring. It also ensured that the business remained agile enough to adapt to unforeseen challenges and opportunities. This plan was presented to the shareholders to secure increased multi-country investment in infrastructure (physical, systems and controls, people development).
